About Red Dog Construction

Red Dog Construction is proudly named after our family’s Australian Cattle Dogs, often known as “Red Heelers” for their incredible work as herding dogs. Our dogs, Cheyenne and Bree, have been an integral part of our family and homestead, where we raise goats, chickens, ducks, and maintain large gardens. The spirit of these hardworking, loyal dogs mirrors the values we uphold in our construction business—dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic. The name and logo are a tribute to our beloved Cheyenne, with the logo specifically inspired by her. At Red Dog Construction, we honor Cheyenne and Bree and their ability to bring our whole family together.

Andrew Yacka is the owner and founder of Red Dog Construction, bringing over a decade of experience in the construction and home improvement industries to the business. Throughout his career, Andrew has successfully owned and operated several businesses, including a landscaping company for over seven years, a real estate company, and now, his construction company. His diverse background provides him with a unique set of skills and a well-rounded perspective, allowing him to offer clients not only exceptional craftsmanship but also an outstanding overall experience. 

As a family man, Andrew values quality time with his wife, Mattie, and their children, Dakota and Grant. Together, they enjoy creating memories through hands-on projects and outdoor adventures, a passion that also influences Andrew’s approach to his work. An avid outdoorsman and experience seeker, Andrew is driven by a love for life and a desire to make the most of every day. Whether spending time with family or serving his clients, he’s committed to bringing the same energy, dedication, and enthusiasm to every project at Red Dog Construction.
